Do You Appreciate Your Body?

Do you appreciate Your Body How often do you tell your body that you appreciate it? If you are like most people, not often. After al we have generally been brought up not to give ourselves or our appearance a great deal of thought in case we are seen as being vain. Often we make detrimental remarks about ourselves and our bodies, which may have a negative impact on us and our energetic fields So what kind of things can you tell your body? and just how do you communicate with your body? Preferably out loud, and repeating your statement three times for optimal effect. Say it as though you mean it, come from a space of gratitude and you may be surprised at just how good you feel as your body acknowledges your words. Some suggestions of things to tell your body could be:- I am grateful for my mental clarity I am grateful for the inner voice which communicates with me I appreciate my emotions which allow me to feel I appreciate my metabolism which effectively processes my food for my optimal health I love seeing life through my sparking eyes My ears are attuned to the beautiful sounds of nature I give thanks to my feet and legs which carry me joyfully through life I am blessed with clarity and vision in my life My physical mental and emotional bodies work in conjunction with one another I release weight easily and effortlessly My body firms and tones as my weigh adjusts to suit my shape and size These are just a few of the positive affirmations which you can give to yourself, and when you express them with positive gratitude your body will accept them gratefully. There are many more ways in which you can appreciate your body, and a good mental exercise is to list some of your own and follow them through yourself, or to honour your body physically as well with some personal attention, a massage, a spa, or even smoothing on some nice body lotion.
